About

Hi! I am so glad you’re here!

Let me tell you – it took me FOREVER to start this project.
It was just one of those things that I kept in the back of my mind, thinking, yes, one day I will actually start a travel blog. But there are so many amazing blogs already. Whenever I plan a trip, I love to browse through travel blogs myself. But then I thought, okay – but how will my blog be any different? Does it even make sense to put in all the work?

And you know what – yes it makes sense.
Because nobody ever has the exact same experiences! And that’s what I am here for: to share my personal travel experiences with you, give you all my tips and hopefully some inspiration for your own adventures.

Especially, because I am no full-time digital nomad traveller, as we see them on instagram every day.
I am probably just like you.

My name is Julia (or Jules), I live in Berlin, Germany and am 28 years old (though look like I am 20) and working a full-time job, trying to travel and explore this beautiful planet as much as I possibly can.

On this blog, you will find a whole range of posts:
Weekend getaways, 1-Day itineraries, up to roadtrip or backpacking adventures over the course of several weeks.

My tips and itineraries are designed for any schedule as well as any budget!

About the name: Jules in Wanderland

I chose the name because it connects two really big parts of who I am.
1. to wander – because that is what traveling is, wandering through unknown places
2. Alice in Wonderland, which is my favorite story because it sort of is about traveling as well: falling down a rabbit hole, discovering a whole new world and getting to know yourself better while doing so.
And not only is it my favorite story, it also connects everything to Disney, that special place where my heart feels at home.

So yes … I really hope you will find some inspiration as well as useful tips here!
And please, always, feel free to reach out to me because I can’t wait to hear from you.

Love & magic to you all, Jules
